what a week

So I am thinking that for some reason i would get off easy and not have morning sickness, well I was wrong! This week has been a very hard week. My body is craving chocolate and sweet items. I do not like that at all! I have been being a god girl and telling ti NO! But sometimes it is so hard when the only food that stayed down was that piece of dark chocolate I ate. I have been going back through my notes from Pete Cohan and tell myself to shut the duck up! Things have been much better now and I am eating better. I am trying to get out and walk everyday! I am proud of myself for doing it, even in the rain! I get to see the doctor in two weeks and I am excited to see my little one for the first time. I am so excited to tell him yes when he asked me if I eat right and exercise! I am so grateful for mamavation and honestly I tell everyone I know if they want to charge there lifestyle they need to check it out! I know that with out mamavation I would still be 25lbs heaver then what I am. That I would have a high risk pregnancy because I would not be walking and eating right. It is amazing to be how simple the change can be when we just put our minds to it, and have great friends to support you! Thank you so much for the support you have given me! Without I do not think I could of made it. Thank you for checking up on my and making sure I am ok. Everyone one of you mamavation ladies are wonderful and I am so lucky to call you my friends! Till next week I am out!

I hope that your appt in a couple of weeks goes wonderfully. Chocolate was something I craved a lot while I was pregnant. Good for you that you are still walking and stuff. Keep it up girl. Congrats again

Morning sickness is no fun. I didn't get it too bad but I know many ladies get it bad. Do what you gotta do to get some calories and nutrients if it is really bad. If that chocolate is the only thing you can keep down, then do it. Get back on the real food when your body allows it, just be honest with yourself. Have a great week.

Praying the morning sickness disappears soon. I know how difficult that topped with sweet cravings can be. Please know I am so proud of you. I have faith in you!

My pregnant daughter wanted to get in shape with me but she's having a lot of nausea and cravings so I will encourage her to join me in a few weeks. Happy Mamavation Monday!

Pregnancy is so hard for me too! I hope you start to feel better soon! Morning sickness is supposed to not be as bad when you've been eating less saturated fat before the pregnancy so hopefully that will help you out! Have a great week!

Morning sickness is the pits but I always thought of it as a little bump in the road that I would gladly take if it meant having a child. Good for you for trying to continue healthy eating and exercise. Have a great week!

I've heard that in the first trimester the body craves insulin. You need sugar/carbs to make that happen. I would eat the dark chocolate, fruit juice & whole wheat right now. Just don't overdue it. Keep up your exercise and you should be fine. XXOO

Ironic...my post this morning was titled 'what a week' too! So I echo your sentiments! I've been struggling with the sweets thing too...mostly not giving into it (minus a Wendy's Frosty episode a couple days ago :( But I've gotten my workouts in every day this week and that feels good (and sore!!)

PS - you have a couple blog awards at my blog...come on over and pick 'em up! http://makingoverme.blogspot.com/2010/03/what-week.html
